About Spitball

Spitball is an iPhone app published by Long Wknd LLC for capturing and organizing thoughts. These terms describe use of our app and website. Apple’s applicable platform and TestFlight terms also apply when you download or test the app. Apps distributed through the App Store are subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless a different license is provided.

Your content stays yours

You retain your rights in the thoughts, recordings, photos and other content you create. Using Spitball does not transfer ownership of that content to us. You decide what to record, save and share.

Only record or share content you are permitted to use. Obtain any consent required when recording other people. Do not use the app or site to infringe others’ rights or break applicable law.

Beta software and availability

Spitball is currently distributed through TestFlight. Features may change, beta places may be limited, and builds can expire. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every device or language will support every feature.

Transcripts can contain errors or omissions. Check the original audio before relying on a transcript or sharing it. Export important content and manage your device backups. We cannot recover a local library we do not possess.

Third-party services

Optional iCloud sync relies on Apple. Sharing to another app, opening external links and using TestFlight are also subject to the relevant providers’ terms. We do not control their availability or their handling of information you send to them.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains local storage, optional iCloud, optional analytics and beta diagnostics. Website terms do not turn on optional analytics or iCloud for you.

Our app and brand

Spitball’s software, website design and brand assets belong to Long Wknd LLC or their respective licensors. These terms do not grant permission to redistribute the app or represent yourself as Spitball.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as the app develops. The date above identifies the current version. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.
